Chevy Express Reverse Wire?

Trying to install a backup camera and looking for the reverse wire. From the reverse light I see a few wires coming out, white, gray, red red, black and green. I assumed it was green but there is no power coming from that wire...tried red and camera works, but it's the power to the brake light. Does anyone know what the reverse light power wire is? Attached a picture for reference

Don't know which one it is but have you had any luck in finding this out?

Calling up the parts department at your local dealer might be of some help.

from your picture, can't figure out which one is for power. generally you can find 3 color wire ,red ,black and green. red means power ,black is GND for ground, green is reverse.
where did you buy the camera ? you can contact it for help.this vendor has instruction details in PDF ,hope it can help you.

Jeez.... I'm having the same issue here.....I have an 05 Chevy G3500 cutaway box van with the 6.0l v8. I'm looking for the backup wire for the monitor. I tied my rear camera to the backup light, and that's all fine, but I don't really want to run another wire all the way back to the cab from the light just to power the screen. For now I have the screen hooked up to constant 12v, and can leave it on, but its just a blue screen until I put it into reverse and the camera is powered on. Can anyone please tell me where the reverse power wire is?

TIA,
Doug

Black is indeed a ground wire and I think often if it's not in black it might be white and marked as the ground wire.

And the green wire worked the way it should ??

You could just get a multi-meter and test them and see what voltage is coming out of em' and which alternate ?
