I have created a little "photo set" detailing how to play USB flash drive music files on the (available) City Express Infotainment system. *SPOILER ALERT* The City Express can "read" files in .mp3 format. These files must be converted to .mp3 from how they typically arrive from a well-known online music store(the one in Cupertino). Anyhow, have a look here:

Thanks for the photo guide! Makes me wonder what other kind of format it reads. have you tested it out with anything other than mp3 yet?

That's expected, as with anything you try to play and/or use media with, the most popular format is one which you can't go wrong in using. Having used a lot of computer programs to play media, this is what i have discovered over the years, something that should stand true for situations similar to this one.
